This show brings back so many memories. MSCL was a terrific show and it really takes me back to my teenage years. I was so disappointed in the fact that it didn’t survive one season. Its amazing to find sites like this one and also the MSCL site that is solely dedicated to pay tribute to the show. There is also a facebook page with 20000 fans. Wow. Looking back, I think ABC got this one wrong. Anyway, I think it would be awesome to recreate the show. I agree, everything should be the same, even the intro. I can see where others would say that without Claire Daines or Jared Leto, the show wouldn’t be the same. But realistically, how long would those two been on the show anyway if it had been a long running show. Just think, if indeed it was still on today, daines nor leto could pull off being a high school kid. Characters would have definetely needed replaced. I think you keep the same characters for the recreation, but different stars. Wow, even if abc didn’t want it there are stations now like the CW or UPN that would be great. Heck, they just remade 90210 and I think that’s doing good. What do you think?

i love the idea of having a season 2. i loved the show and i know that alot of people can reltae to what went on. i think that your version was great except i would tweek a few things. i think that angela and jordan should finally hook up. if he does get kicked out him and angela would get him back in, her and reyanne would make up. brian should move on and forget her, angela i mean and there should be a new guy for rickie and they should all be friends like they were in the 1st season. plus angelas dad shouldnt pull the plug he should include patty in his resteraunt after she fails with the printing. and jordan so freaKIN HOTTTTTTT

So since yesturday I wound up watching the whole first season of My so called life. All 19 episiodes back to back only stopping to sleep, cook and shower. I love it. I was probably to young to ever remember this show being out in 1994, In fact i was too young… I was 8 years old. Now I wish it had more seasons. Maybe they can re air the show. starting over 100% or picking up where it left off from season one and having a brush up episode kind of re capturing everything mildly from the first season. I know If they show came back out I’d watch for sure. Maybe this show just didnt come out in the right era. I was thinking about it today and because Ricky was in the show in 94 being gay/bi wasn’t as accepted as it is today. So giving it another shot might be great. If you look at the shows today, you have Glee and you have Ugly Betty both featuring gay people. As i said way more accepted now days then it was say 16 years ago in 1994. PLEASE GIVE THIS SOME SERIOUS THOUGHT. ITS BRILLIANT. Love the new ideas for a second season. I like what Christie said about sex polution… Most shows now days are mainly based on sex :( Because sex sells…. Maybe it does, but lets be real any body can sell sex… Not everyone can sell a great T.V. show. As far as ideas on the show, I really hope you stick with your ideas… Christie has some alright ideas that i agree with tho. Angela shouldn’t ever wind up with Brian. Yes and Ricky does get a great guy i agree with that.. HOPE THE SHOW COMES BACK YAY!!!

i love that everyone loves this show too. it was definitely one of my favorites. i love the way it captured the reality of teenage life in a poetic, sincere way. i keep hoping there were more episodes. but i do not agree that the show should be remade. there was something very unique about claire daynes. she cant be replaced. it will not be the same.

I like Christie’s version. I think that would make the most since. I am 20, and strongly believe someone should recreate this show. Everything should be the same except the clothes and the language. What was up with using the word “like” so much. That was my only complaint. This show should still be on today. The taste of reality is refreshing.

Yeah, I’ve recently watched all 19 epidsodes again, and was sad when it ended. It’s a great show, alot better than Gossip Girl or all those other “teenage” shows now. This is the kind of TV show that should still be on air. Not the crap with all the sex polution and harsh language. Stuff that can really help kids how to deal with life. After watching the show again, I know one thing is for certain…Angela would never end up with Brian. It’s just not the way it would happen. I believe Brian would find a new girl, or if you really wanted to be far fetched….he could end up with Rayanne after a meaningful talk one night. Rickie definitely ends up with a great guy. As far as the whole Angela/Jordan thing….we all know those kinds of relationships don’t last. We all need a first love. Jordan gets kicked out of school, and decides to move. There is this long good-bye, but it helps Angela. I believe the series would end with Angela not having a someone special, but she would have all her friends back. That’s how real life is. Hope you enjoy my view on how Season 2 would go.

I loved MSCL but I was very disappointed when the season ended in the way it did…….I feel like it needed more. I want to know why did the show end. By the way im 17 and the show was being aired when I was on 5-6 years old. The last show had me hooked and I just knew it was going to be another episide. I just start watching the show a few weeks along, ok to be honest i love Jared Leto so that why I started watching the show on hulu and got hooked. I want to know what made the director or who ever cancel the show?????

i just watched this show 4 the first time after my sister told me about it 4 many years saying she likes it n wanted it so i watched it n i love it n i think they should of had more seasons n angela n jordan went somewhere n had sex n then she could of got pregnant n then didnt no what 2 do so she tells Rayanne about it then they b come friends again n Sharon 2

I remember watching this show with my older sister when I was 9, she was so in love with Jordan, I thought he was cute too! growing up this show was always in the back of my mined. I just finished watching the season this week and LOVED it. It is so timeless. all the feeling the charicters have are feelings everyone has and its so nice to know that your not the onle one in the world that feels that way. Im so sad that there isn’t anymore to watch. What a show!
